Ford Mustang (Mach 1)

Continuing from yesterdays post, the Ford Mustang first generation models were the most popular of the cars history, but what about after the first generation? Well seeing that the 1969-1970 models were the final designs for Carroll Shelby with Ford, Ford was on their own from that point on. This resulted in numerous different changes to the Mustang over the years.

We'll start in the 1969 when Ford released the Mach 1 model, which looks similar to the Boss models as mentioned in the first generation post, but the Mach 1 is slightly more slim.

The Mach 1 saw some changes in 1971-1973 to the body style, a longer hood and shorter rear-deck.

After that, the Mach 1's from 1974-1978 reduced its body style to less of a powerful sports car, to a more compact vehicle.

Ford brought back the Mach 1 in the early 2000s and will be releasing a Mach-1 in 2021 with a hint of the past and the future in it.
